Modelling and Simulation Intern

At AETHER, you’ll be working on developing innovative procedural generation systems for urban environments in Unreal Engine. You will contribute to enhancing AETHER’s simulation capabilities through the development of advanced procedural generation techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with Unreal Engine and its development environment
- Solid understanding of 3D modeling and procedural generation techniques
- Knowledge of computer graphics fundamentals
- Programming proficiency for implementing generation algorithms
- Understanding of machine learning concepts, particularly in generative algorithms
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) for collaborative development
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Experience
- + Experience with reinforcement learning and its applications in simulation environments
- + Knowledge of urban planning and architectural principles
- + Familiarity with different procedural generation techniques used in games and simulations
- + Experience with generative AI models (e.g., diffusion networks, GANs)
- + Background in creating intermediate representation formats for 3D environments
- + Understanding of performance optimization in real-time 3D environments
