At AETHER, you’ll conduct pioneering AI research that advances the state-of-the-art in autonomous systems. Working alongside our research scientists, you’ll explore novel architectures like foundation models across diverse modalities and experiment with advanced tasks such as multi-agent reinforcement learning.
Key Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree or diploma in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong mathematical foundation in linear algebra and statistics.
AI Solutions Intern
At AETHER, you’ll develop cutting-edge AI solutions that push the boundaries of autonomous systems. You’ll work directly with our engineer-scientists on projects spanning the full AI lifecycle - from data architecture to model deployment.
Key Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree or diploma in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience with prompt engineering and LLM development.
Software Development Intern
At AETHER, you’ll work with the team to explore, experiment and iterate on new technologies. You will also deliver innovative, enduring solutions that strengthen the RSAF’s technological capabilities and resilience in advanced areas of Autonomous Software, AI and Robotics.
Key Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree or diploma in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Data Science or related fields.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python, JavaScript, SQL or Rust.
Cybersecurity Intern
At AETHER, you will help design and implement next-generation cybersecurity systems for the RSAF. You will collaborate with experienced security engineers and researchers, working on projects that directly impact RSAF’s cyber resilience.
Key Requirements:
- Pursuing a diploma in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong programming skills in C and/or Python
Modelling and Simulation Intern
At AETHER, you’ll be working on developing innovative procedural generation systems for urban environments in Unreal Engine. You will contribute to enhancing AETHER’s simulation capabilities through the development of advanced procedural generation techniques.
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience with Unreal Engine and its development environment
- Solid understanding of 3D modeling and procedural generation techniques
Game Development Intern
At AETHER, you’ll help design, implement and optimize game-play systems, pipelines and tooling across Godot, Unreal Engine 5 or Unity. You’ll work on feature prototypes, asset pipelines, editor tools, and performance tuning, gaining end-to-end experience.
Key Requirements:
- Hands-on experience shipping prototypes or small games in at least one of: Godot, Unity, or Unreal Engine
- Programming proficiency in C# (Unity/Godot), GDScript (Godot) or C++/Blueprints (Unreal)
Robotics Engineering Intern
At AETHER, you’ll be working to help develop and implement innovative and state-of-the-art robotic systems. You will assist to strengthen the RSAF’s technological capabilities and resilience in advanced areas of Autonomous Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Software Development.
Key Requirements:
- Pursuing a diploma in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
Business Development and Partnerships Intern
At AETHER, you’ll contribute to driving innovation and organisational transformation through business development, partnership-building, and digital enablement. You will support key functions that span business analysis, operations, human capital, and strategic project planning.
Key Requirements:
- Pursuing a diploma in Business, IT, Engineering, or related fields
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
